Subscriptions and Licences

Journal content is by annual subscription, annual licence or by volume. Please note that because access is sometimes granted by volume not all subscriptions are for a calendar year.

We offer the following access arrangements:

• An online subscription providing access to one or more journals either for a single named user or a commercial, or not-for-profit enterprise.
• Annual online multi-user, multi-site licences to a journal by volume.
  • For commercial, government and not-for-profit enterprises, licences grant access to all employees regardless of their geographical location plus walk-in users.
  • For universities, colleges, schools and other educational organisations, licences grant access to all employees, faculty, students and alumni of the licensed institution regardless of their geographical location plus walk-in users.
• Discounted annual online multi-user, multi-site licences to the complete collection of 22 journals or to packages of journals (e.g. Marketing, Finance, Digital Business) granting access to the current volumes and to the entire archive of earlier issues. Licences grant access to all employees, faculty, students and alumni of the licensed institution regardless of their geographical location plus walk-in users. For academic institutions these deep-discount packages offer extremely good value and provide excellent support for teaching and student projects.

Access for Your Users

Online access is delivered by our service provider, IngentaConnect. We offer:

• IP access validation and multiple login names enabling individuals to access subscriptions from more than one affiliation, e.g. university and society membership
• Access by single username and password
• Federated validation through Athens single sign-on and Shibboleth for institutions.
• Access via your subscription agent to automate the authentication process, saving your time and resource while making the user experience seamless

Promotional Materials

To request promotional materials to advertise the availability of journal content to your users, please email us here. Materials include

• Posters to distribute to departments and display on notice boards ensuring that faculty and students are aware of the collection’s availability

• Email Templates – we provide a selection of templates to help you send emails to potential users to increase awareness of the journal content.

Detailed usage reports are available on request. Please email us here to request these citing your institution, the journal name and usage dates.

Henry Stewart Publications Interlibrary Loan Policy

Inter Library Loan (ILL) is a library to library service and involves copying and sharing articles for non-commercial purposes among not-for-profit, academic libraries within the same country on behalf of end-users.

Henry Stewart Publications permits researchers to access content in addition to their institution’s existing subscriptions and licences by enabling loans of Henry Stewart Publications content between academic libraries in the same country, the process known as ILL. Specifically Henry Stewart Publications permits a reasonable level of copying and sharing of its content either as hard copy or as a PDF directly between librarians who are then permitted in turn to share this content with any researcher who is a user entitled to access either of these libraries’ collections. Henry Stewart Publications ILL policy is intended to help researchers and academics access content that is not considered a key part of their particular library’s collection and is not a substitute for purchase or subscription.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds, in whole or in part, for subscribers no longer requiring a new subscription are not normally made but may be paid at the publisher’s sole discretion.

Refunds for subscribers who have paid for the renewal of their subscription are only made if the first issue of the new volume has not yet been published.
